About Private Detective Trainer
I am a working Private Investigator and trainer with over 35 years of experience
in the investigation industry. I have spent my career handling real cases, building
reports, and working with agencies and clients who depend on accurate information.
Over the years, I have helped many students and new investigators sharpen their
skills, understand how real casework unfolds, and build the confidence they need
to work in this field. My goal is simple: to give you clear, honest training that
prepares you for actual investigative work, not TV scripts.
Individualized Learning Approach
I believe every student is unique. Some learn best by watching, some by doing,
and some by asking questions in real time. My teaching approach is tailored to
your learning style, pace, and interests so you are never just another name in
a classroom.
Flexible Schedule
I understand that students and working adults have busy lives. That is why I offer
this training online, so you can work through the videos and material at times that
fit your schedule while still having support and guidance along the way.
Who This Training Is For
- People considering a career in private investigations
- New investigators who want real-world guidance from someone in the field
- Security or law enforcement professionals who want to expand their skills
- Anyone curious about how real investigations are conducted behind the scenes
About the Instructor
Michael Clemente, Chief Instructor
Michael Clemente is a seasoned Private Investigator and trainer based in North Kingstown,
Rhode Island. With over three decades of experience in real investigative work, he has
handled a wide range of cases, built detailed reports, and worked closely with clients,
attorneys, and law-enforcement professionals who depend on accurate information.
Mike operates Mr. & Mrs. Detectives, a private investigation agency serving Rhode Island
and surrounding areas, and is actively involved in the community through
New England Missing, a volunteer-driven organization focused on bringing awareness,
support, and resources to families with missing loved ones.
Mike’s approach to training is grounded in his real-world investigative background. Every
lesson is built from situations he has encountered in the field, giving students practical,
actionable instruction that mirrors the work investigators actually do, not Hollywood versions
of the job.
His goal is straightforward: to provide clear, honest, and realistic training that helps new
investigators develop confidence, professionalism, and the skills needed to work in the
private investigation industry.
